I can't wait to watch the X-Men movie tomorrow

Yesterday when I came back from work I was about to do the same thing I do everyday, sit and read some blogs/ubbs. But this time it was different. I turned the monitor on and this buzzing sound suddenly started to come out of my monitor. The screen looked like it just went through some aurora borealis and you could smell some smoke. I bought the 19" monitor just a month ago and I was SO pissed that I couldn't even remember if I kept the receipt or of I threw it away.

So we went back to the store to see if I could get a replacement or if they could send it in to get it fixed. It seems that the monitors they have now on the store are the older models and since mine was the newer model, they couldn't get me a new one. So I returned it and got the money back into my credit card ($290 total). So now I'm back to my 17" monitor. Maybe next time I will buy a 21" instead.

Why is it that when I need to talk to somebody about work they're not at their cube???

I got up 20 minutes ago realizing that I needed to mail one of the credit card bills (that it's due on Tuesday). Got everything ready, went outside and the mail was already here, and the post office closes at noon on Saturdays. Well.. I hope they don't mind getting this one late. And finally I can get all the junk mail I receive through my Ameritech email account, which was down for two days.

I saw Scary Movie tonight. If you like funny, pointless movies then I'd recommend it. If you're looking for a movie with a decent plot, don't go. The best part was when they made the Matrix-like fight scene at the end.

I think I'm the only one that could care less about the new Harry Potter book. As a matter of fact, I never heard of that name until a couple of weeks ago. All the books I've read were in Spanish, except the ones I had to read for my English class in high school (Of Mice and Men, Wuthering Heights, The Old Man and the Sea). Well, I guess I won't be standing in line to get a hold of the book.

Damn you Ameritech!!! Can't you afford to keep your useless DNS servers working for more than one day?? I hate when I can't get to more than half of the pages I visit. die die die!

Jena convinced me so I added a Wallpapers section. RIght now there's only one, but hopefully, as I get better at this I will post more.

I hate Tuesdays. Nothing good is on tv, my fiancé is playing Diablo 2 so I decided to include the email form in the blog template. Now you have no excuse people, keep those emails coming!

Everyone is getting all these cute Nokia phones and I'm stuck with my convenient Samsung SCH-411. And I mean stuck because is not mine yet, I still have payments on it due. What do you think about this phone? It has a built-in mp3 player and 32MB of data storage that lets you store files and swap them with a PC. Cool!
