And while I can't find anything interesting on tv (and I have digital cable with all the channels, 200+), Eitel is playing Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force. I don't blame him, since the game is based on the Quake 3 engine, it looks cool and it's kinda like watching a new episode.

My new work hours are 8am-5pm. So I get to the office and only 2 people are here (the HR/Accountant and Secretary). Hum... I bet that if I get here late I wil get yelled at (murphy's law at work!).

So now the new slogan will be No quiero Taco Bell?

I learned something today. To get SSI working correctly, all the files have to be on the same directory. I originally had my SSI files on a separate directory but when I uploaded the index.shtml file I got a error on the place where the SSI is. So now the Blog is powered by SSI ;)

Puerto Rico's governor decided that the island should be like the east cost and go to daylight savings time. PR is in Atlantic Savings time and they don't change the time when we do. It really doesn't make any difference specially since we are closer to the equator than the US is. But obviously he doesn't care. So when the change occurs, at 7am it will still be dark. On the good side, now the tv shows on cable will be on at the same time.

I can't believe that Toledo is kicking Penn State's butt on today's football game. Penn State has no offensive, their quarterback sucks ass and almost all the defensive starters from last year left for the NFL or graduated. I think I will start watching Michigan's games (maybe I should just walk to the stadium which is not far from here, about 3 miles)

I've been playing around with SSI. I thought it was hard but it isn't. I just can't think of a way to implement it on my site. The only thing that I change constantly are the archive's links and the blog's links. But to do that is not that hard. Maybe for my next layout.

My cable modem got installed today and I downloaded Netscape at 178 KB/sec. I couldn't go over 100 KB/sec with the DSL. I love high speed access :)

Let's see if Mediaone can finally come over and install the digital cable/cable modem. Watching only local channels from Detroit and Toledo is no fun.

Tomorrow some of Eitel's friends are coming over to help move the big things then all we have to do is clean clean clean the old apartment. To make things worse, it feels like Fall around here. It got down to 50 (F) last night and I think the high today is 62. brrrr

I swear that I won't move again!!! Too many things to move back and forth and we still need to clean the apartment.

So, the cable guy never showed up. The excuse? That I called and rescheduled the appointment for Monday. If I did that, then why I was sitting around all afternoon waiting for these morons to come? Then they said that they called... yeah right, no voice mail left and the number didn't show up on the Caller ID. Liars! Now I have to wait until Monday to get the cable modem and the digital cable installed. *sigh*

Did I mention that my fiancé Bar also redesigned his blog? It's contagious! And if you sign his guestbook and mine, I'll give you a virtual cookie.

Go figure, the day I'm supposed to start moving my stuff to the new townhouse, it gets all cloudy, hot, humid and with a big chance of thunderstorms. I just hope that the rain stops before the cable guy comes in.
