Everyone is getting all these cute Nokia phones and I'm stuck with my convenient Samsung SCH-411. And I mean stuck because is not mine yet, I still have payments on it due. What do you think about this phone? It has a built-in mp3 player and 32MB of data storage that lets you store files and swap them with a PC. Cool!
All I seem to get lately via email are jokes. No one wants to talk???

If you don't know how to propose to your girlfriend, do some research on the web, ask friends and family, anything but this.
It looks like someone decided to steal my fiance's layout from islabonita.org. He's even stealing bandwidth by linking some of the images directly from islabonita.org's server. ha! Here's the guestbook in case you want to leave a note.

Damn!! I went to the gym and forgot to watch Sex in the City. Now I have to wait for the weekly reruns to watch it. OTOH, Sixteen Candles is on TNT.

I like the Recently Uptaded addition to the Power Bloggers. The one in the Blogger page seems to be having some issues and won't work.

It's sad that two people died of heart-attacks at Comerica Park because the emergency teams weren't prepared.

I'm watching The Wedding Singer on Encore and I just can't get enough of that movie. All those 80's references just drive me crazy!

Today marks the day I started going out with Eitel two years ago. I met Eitel online in IRC while I was at PSU and when I moved to Michigan after accepting a job offer he followed me (ok now all at the same time.. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw). He got me Father of the Bride on DVD (I love that movie) and I got him some clothes. I love him very very much and don't know what I would do without him (what would I eat?? He's the one that cooks..j/k)

Another one for Cease and desist 101.. He got the letter from the lawyers at the Betty Ford Center. They think that he is taking advantage of their name to get more hits. He is making no money off the site, nor he is insulting the center. This is getting out of hand.. cybersquatting my @$$

I pay more on Ameritech's phone charges than on AT&T's long distance charges. A $3.28 cut is not going to make that much of a difference to me.
This may come in handy at work tomorrow:
Useful Expressions To Use At Work
I'm trying to imagine you with a personality.
Let me show you how the guards used to do it . . .
You look like shit. Is that the style now?
Aw, did I step on your poor little bitty ego?
And your cry-baby whiny-assed opinion would be . . . ?
Not the brightest crayon in the box now, are we?
Did the aliens forget to remove your anal probe?
Sarcasm is just one more service we offer.

British Telecom believes that it owns a 14-year old US patent on the WWW hyperlink technology and wants to see if it can start collecting money from American ISPs because of it. If this is true, I think it will be interesting to see how they will pursue the $$$

One more thing to do in one of the sections and the whole domain will be layout-coordinated. Won't do it now though, WWF is on. The tables in some of the pages align funny in Netscape, that green vertical line sometimes shows up and sometimes it doesn't. But I don't feel like fixing it so deal with it! :P At least it's readable.
This is the virus that caused the mail servers at work to be shutdown. And I only got one on my mailbox.
I must've clicked on Publish around twenty times in the last hour (fixing something on the layout) and only one shows up in the last updated list at Blogger? wtf... :P
New virus on the run. If you get an email with the subject jokes, funny, very funny; it says something like male and female life stages and has an attachment ending in txt.shs (shs extension will be hidden in Windows) do not open.. delete it!! It propagates through mIRC, Pirch, Outlook and network drives.

Finally.. after many times of clicking on Publish to see which links I missed, the new layout is up. It looks better in 1024x768 in my 19" monitor and Internet Explorer, but you can see it fine in Netscape 4.7 and 800x600 (anything lower than this is just not acceptable.. get a new video card or monitor!)

I don't think y'all care what I did today.. so here it is anyways. Me and my fiancé went out to eat at Benihana. Then we drove to Borders and I bought myself the movie Ever After in DVD (we no longer get the 33% employee discount in dvd movies, just a 15% which happens to be more expensive than the sale price). While driving around in Ann Arbor I saw a Baskin Robbins and decided to stop and get some Mint Chocolate ice cream and finally, 6 hours later, I got home.
Everytime I go grocery shopping to Farmer Jack, they never ever have Rolo in the shelves. Not the single ones, not the ones in the bag. It seems to be a pretty popular chocolate around here.

Now that I think about it, Angelina Jolie is not going wacko, she is wacko! Why would you marry someone like Billy Bob whatever-his-last-name-is?
I love the horizontal scrolling in fcuker.com
I managed to live two days without blogging. How did I do it? By not sitting in from of the pooter.. instead I sat in front of the tv. ;-)

What's up with all these referrals coming from porn pages? I think thecounter has some kind of agreement with them.
Some people are sick. I can't believe they will attack various women in the middle of Central Park during the day. I hope they get caught soon and while at it somebody should castrate them.
I know someone was asking for a spellchecker for their sites, and this might just do it.

Obviously I'm not the only one complaining about the gas prices these days. Is there a competition going around to see who can keep the price for the least amount of time? I go to work in the morning and it's $2.03/gal, go out for lunch and goes up to $2.09/gal HELLO!!! And yeah, I spent $20 to fill up my Escort. Someone on the radio said that she spends $100 every 3 days to fill up her Suburban (why would someone want to drive a Suburban to work baffles me but hey.. not my problem)

What's up with all these US agencies losing important secret information? The latest: Secret nuclear information missing from Los Alamos lab
The US average national retail price for unleaded gasoline is $1.631 (a record high) but around here in Michigan you can get it for $1.99-$2.15 per gallon. auch! And I have to fill up tomorrow
Well.. the Department of Justice has been very busy with antitrust laws lately, now they are taking Visa and MasterCard to court. They argue that MC and VS tried to shutdown competition by prohibiting banks from issuing competitor's cards.

I finally got my butt out of bed and went to Cedar Point yesterday. Got there at 11am and decided to go straight to Millennium Force and there was a two and a half hour queue line, which I can handle. But more than half of the line was spent under the sun at 90ºF with no water/soda vending machines near sight. When we finally made it to where they were selling the water, 3 people had to be taken out of the line because they got dizzy and exhausted.
Besides that, it was worth the wait (not sure if it was worth getting sun burt like I haven't in years). It was a smooth ride even though you reach 92mph! Then we rode on Raptor, Blue Streak, Power Tower and played a couple of games. We decided to go one more time in MF but they weren't letting anyone in so we went to Mantis instead. But with all the heat and sun, I was dead tired by 6pm and decided to go home (two hour highway drive). Needless to say I've spent all day today sleeping and complaining that my shoulders hurt.
